The pairings for the quarter-finals of the Europa League, the second most important club football competition in Europe after the Champions League, have been drawn. Three Italian teams qualified for the quarterfinals: Milan, Roma and Atalanta. Milan will play against Roma (the first leg will be in Milan on 11th April and the return leg in Rome on the 18th), while Atalanta will play against Liverpool (the first leg will be in Liverpool on 11th April and the return leg will be in Bergamo on the 18th) . The other two quarter-finals will be Bayer Leverkusen-West Ham and Benfica-Olympique Marseille.

The pairings for the quarter-finals of the Conference League, the third most important European club cup, were also drawn on Friday afternoon: Fiorentina, the only Italian team still in the competition, will face the Czechs Viktoria Plzen. The other quarter-finals will be Brugge-Paok Thessaloniki, Olympiakos-Fenerbahce and Aston Villa-Lille.
