Dimarco and Arnautovic convince Simone Inzaghi to follow the Curva chorus and jump with the whole stadium: for once the Inter coach melts
After Torino’s pasillo of honor to the Inter players, who won their 20th scudetto, that of the second star, on 22 April in a 2-1 win over Milan, the Curva Nord paid homage to the Nerazzurri with lots of chants.
When it was Simone Inzaghi’s turn, the Inter fans asked the coach to jump for (and with) them. The coach, who confirmed the starting team with the only (announced) absences of Acerbi and Dimarco (de Vrij and Carlos Augusto taking their place on the pitch), said no to continue following the match against Torino.
Then Dimarco and Arnautovic intervened, practically forcing Inzaghi to fulfill the wish of the Nerazzurri supporters, of the second green ring, that of the warmest support. Then Inzaghi finally loosened up, jumping and smiling. And already having made him smile is great news in the afternoon of celebration against the Granata. The Nerazzurri coach almost never gets upset, he is always focused on giving instructions to his players, who didn’t find much space in this first half.
«Inzaghi is a winner. You couldn’t find anyone better than him”, were the words of the CEO. of the Viale della Liberazione club, Beppe Marotta, before the kick-off.
