The men’s national rugby team was joke 27-24 by England at the Olympic stadium in Rome, on the first day of the Six Nations, the most important European rugby tournament. Italy, coached since January 1st by the Argentine Gonzalo Quesada, had ended the first half ahead by scoring two tries, but suffered a comeback from England in the second. However, he received several compliments for the quality of his play and the tenacity he also showed when he was behind and scored another try.
Italy ended the last edition of the Six Nations, won by Ireland, in last position, with five defeats in five matches. They will play their next match on Sunday 11 February at 4pm against Ireland at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin.
