With his 51 points Jayson Tatum produced a new scoring record in a playoff game-7. Surpassed after only two weeks Steph Curry, 50 points in the success against the Kings.
Tatum went 17/28 from the field with 13 rebounds and 5 assists in the Boston Celtics’ win over the 76ers. He is the fifth player in NBA history to produce a 50+10+5 in an NBA game.
It should be noted how, in race-7, Joel Embiid and James Harden produced 24 points in two. Also counting the assists, they would be 44, against 62 for Tatum alone.
