Lucia Dalmasso thinks about the future. “I gained experience in Beijing”

Agordina is back from the Games and looks to the World Cup and the Italian flag

FALCADE. Look at the next engagements. But the first Olympics will remain in the heart of the Falcadina Lucia Dalmasso.

The Italian athlete in Beijing was unable to qualify for the final phase of parallel snowboarding, finishing the eliminatory phase 20 seconds later than the first classified. But agordina does not despair and does not make dramas, looking to the future.

“I’m not talking about defeat, because the one made in Beijing is all experience, and as such it is always positive,” explains Dalmasso on her return from China. «The races are like this: when you give your best you can make a mistake. I am happy with my first Games, from which I bring home a lot of experience, lots of information on my skiing and lots of personal inputs. I am sure that from this experience I will grow from every point of view. Heart, head and perseverance are the ingredients for my path of growth ».

The agordina season is not over, as the parallel snowboard world cup returns to Piancavallo in mid-March and the intention is to improve the position in the world ranking.

Then the standard-bearer from Falcade will defend the double title of Italian champion in parallel giant snowboard and slalom won last year.
