The United States won the CONCACAF Nations League for the third consecutive time on Sunday night. Mexico lost 2-0 in the final. KRC Genk defender Mark McKenzie remained on the bench for the Americans for 90 minutes.

A number of Genkies took action on Tuesday. For example, Patrik Hrosovsky played with Slovakia, opponents of our Red Devils at the European Championship, with a 1-1 draw against Norway. The blue and white midfielder started in the starting line-up and was substituted just before the hour mark.

Carlos Cuesta took on Romania, also an opponent of the Belgians at the European Championship, in a practice match with Colombia in Madrid. The defender played the entire match at center back, as Colombia won 3-2. Zakaria El Ouahdi also recorded a victory. He is preparing for the Olympic Games in Paris next summer with the Moroccan U23 and defeated Wales 2-0 in a practice match.

Noah Adedeji-Sternberg, Mike Penders and Josué Kongolo were too strong for the Netherlands 3-2 in a European Championship qualifying match with the Belgian U19. Finally, Konstantinos Karetsas played with the Belgian U17 with a 2-2 draw against his Dutch peers.
