Bologna, 10 March 2022 – Great party and great emotion last night in the night slalom of Flachau. If Italy has achieved a disastrous result, Hall e Vinatzer not qualified to the second, Razzoli out after the twenty-fifth place of the premiere, there was the salute to the circus of Manfred Moelgg, who ran his last heat after twenty years of career. A special toast at the finish with friends and rivals.

Nice party for Manfred who went down with bib 32 in the first heat but decided to stop just before the finish line, to take off his ski and be welcomed by his colleagues with a toast to the sound of champagne. Manfred was given a special ski with thanks from the circus and was greeted by the large Austrian audience standing and applauding. Twenty years of career with three cup victories and twenty podiums overall. As for the Courchevel finals, three Italians qualified in slalom: Razzoli, Vinatzer and Sala.
