Torre Annunziata (Naples), 11 June 2022 – She had disappeared from the beach, the searches, hours of fear and the tragic ending. The terrible story took place today 11 June in Torre Annunziata. Victim the little Vittoria, 5 years old, that she was with her mother and younger sister in the Risorgimento beach on the Marconi seafront when she disappeared from her mother’s eyes.
The facts. Around at 2 pm the mother the little girl became aware of his absence and raised the alarm, even launching a desperate appeal on social media. On the spot the searches began, carried out by the carabinieri of the company of Torre Annunziata, with the support at sea of some means of the Port Authority and private fishermen.
Only after a couple of hours from the first report, a Coast Guard boat identified the girl’s body in the water but she was already in desperate critical condition.
Vittoria, still alive but in critical condition, was urgently transferred to the hospital in Castellammare di Stabia, where unfortunately all attempts to save her life were in vain. The Torre Annunziata prosecutor’s office opened a file on the episode entrusting the investigations to the carabinieri.
