After 3 preliminaries, the Jiangsu team won first place in the four individual events of the pommel horse, rings, parallel bars and horizontal bars, and scored a total of 338.961 points, ranking first in the team preliminaries. The Hunan team ranked second in the preliminaries with a total of 337.562 points, and the Guangdong team ranked third with 335.026. The 4th to 8th places are Guangxi, Beijing, Shandong, Guizhou and Zhejiang. These 8 teams advanced to the team finals.
A total of 28 players signed up for the individual all-around event, but only 24 players completed all 6 events. According to the rules, only 22 players are required to participate in the all-around finals. Lan Xingyu and Hu Xuwei of Guangxi team qualified for the finals. They ranked 5th and 8th respectively in the preliminaries.

In the remaining individual preliminaries, the top 8 qualified for the finals. Although the men’s team entered the finals and many individuals qualified for the finals, the coach of the Guangxi team still frowned. The reason is that veteran Luo Jianlin injured his right knee, which may affect the men’s team final results. It is reported that the 29-year-old Luo Jianlin originally planned to retire, but out of the needs of the team, he returned to fight side by side with his teammates in the National Games. In the preliminaries yesterday morning, Luo Jianlin, who was injured in the battle, gave his teammates a lot of encouragement with his good performance. After the competition, Huang Mingqi, the gold medalist of the vault at the previous National Games, said in an interview with reporters that the Guangxi team will go all out to stand on the podium. Regarding the performance of himself and his teammates in the team qualifiers, Huang Mingqi said: “Everyone’s performance in the morning match was okay.
