Another brick towards the definition of the “Oltrepo Fbc” project. In recent days, the corporate delegations of the former Varzi and Broni went together to the offices of the Lnd (National Amateur League). On the table the merger between Varzi and Broni to give birth to the new club. The federal leaders have taken note of everything, and recognized the operation as feasible.

The actual merger, from a regulatory point of view, can be formalized from 1st to 5th July.

In the meantime, the time remaining until that fateful date will be used by the two clubs to put together all the necessary documentation and then act definitively. So even after the federal ok, the negotiations that will lead to the appointment of the new coach, after the consensual termination of the relationship with Pagano, also continue in a rapid manner. The names from which to make the final choice are always and only two: Albertini or Tricarico. The official status should be announced shortly (early next week). Once the coach has been defined, at that point the squad will be set up, between confirmations and new arrivals.

The Oltrepo Fbc will train in Molino dei Torti (as small as in the province of Alessandria, a few kilometers from the Casei Gerola motorway exit) and will do it in the afternoon (3 pm). There should be four sessions per week, including Saturday morning finishing. In view of the start of the new sporting year in the championship of Excellence, modernization work continues on both the municipal sports field of Molino dei Torti (pitch and structure) and that of Broni, where the new Oltrepo will play the official home matches. –
