Riso Scotti and Omnia Pavia forward together for the third consecutive season. «We are proud to announce that the Riso Scotti logo will still appear on the game uniforms – reads the press release issued yesterday by the company – The partnership between the historic brand from Pavia and the first sports club in the city is renewed. Keeping faith with a promise already expressed by Dario Scotti, president and CEO, on the occasion of the team’s spring visit to the plant, Riso Scotti will support the Omnia sports project as main sponsor also for 2022-23 ».

The rice industrialist, now assiduous in the stands of the PalaRavizza with his wife, daughter and son-in-law, comments on the agreement underlining “the unchanged passion” for basketball and “sharing” the project, safeguarded (after the decision of the owner Gianni Perruchon to sell the shares), “thanks above all to the role of guarantor played by Senator Centinaio, who was able to hold all the components together”. Riso Scotti joins Punto Edile and Sfre, who had already reiterated their support, while other sponsors are expected to join soon.

The enthusiasm of the fans for the team, which Dario Scotti caught in particular in the play off matches, when Pavia reached a victory from the final, will however be recreated by rebuilding the roster from scratch, after the corporate crisis, then in some buffered way, it triggered the mass flight of the players, when it was necessary to make choices and confirm at least part of the contracts, precisely so as not to have to start from the foundations.
