Nice weekend for Pietro Festini in the European Cup. The athlete from Casamazzagno (Comelico Superiore), who was out of the call-up for the European Championships, was the protagonist of the Italian Ski Mountaineering Cup on Saturday and Sunday, which made a stop in Forni di Sopra, in the province of Udine. On Saturday, in the sprint race, the standard bearer of the Valpadola Sports Union finished second in the Under 23 race, beaten by the Lombard Mirko Sanelli (Premana).
Yesterday, however, Pietro lined up all the competition in the individual. To keep him company on the podium were Alex Rigo (Brenta Team) from Trentino and Alessandro Gadola from Lombardy. Seventh place for the Longaronese Raffaele Teza (Dolomites ski alp). –
