VanVleet was named the Player of the Week for the first time in his career and was the 11th person in Raptors history to receive this honor. Last week against the Nets, Morant contributed 36 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Against the Cavaliers, Morant scored 26 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Against the Pistons, Morant had 22 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Against the Lakers, Morant scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists.
Led by Morant, the Grizzlies have won a 9-game winning streak, ranking fourth in the Western Conference.
