Porsche in the power struggle for VfB

Lutz Meschke is a soccer player. Born in Hilden in the Rhineland and raised in Solingen, the finance director of the sports car manufacturer Porsche played for FC Britannia 08 Solingen in his youth. His fan heart beats for Borussia Mönchengladbach. However, from the perspective of a professional manager, the 57-year-old has also been observing the traditional club in his adopted hometown for more than 20 years: VfB Stuttgart.

And Meschke knows that his company shares something with the football club, whose jersey is adorned with a red chest ring: the connection to Swabia and the Baden-Württemberg state capital. It is not for nothing that the club and sports car manufacturer both have three lying deer poles from the family coat of arms of the House of Württemberg in their emblem.
