Rich Paul, LeBron James’ historic agent, recently stated in an interview with Sirius
“LeBron dedicated more than half of his life to basketball and always treated the game with the utmost respect. Then obviously he had to face enormous pressure and expectations, since he was eighteen. He’s had an incredible career….But I didn’t answer the question about his career….I think we’ll see him next year, when we talk about it the conversation always revolves around the fact that now is the time to enjoy what’s left of his journey… So yes, we will see it next year…And after that? I do not know. But I think he still has two or three years in his ‘tank’.”
James will turn 40 on December 30, his agreement with the Los Angeles Lakers includes a player option worth approximately $51.4 million for next season.
The Chosen One in 71 regular-season games averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 8.3 rebounds, while in the series with the Nuggets he scored 27.8 points (56% FG, 38% 3P, 73% FT) with 6.8 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 2.4 steals.
