Today, in fact, the Frenchman suffered a slight illness and is under observation at the Salerno hospital, as announced in an official communication from the club. On the website we read: “Salernitana communicates that, following a mild illness reported at home this morning, the footballer Iron Gomis is under observation at the San Giovanni di Dio e Ruggi d’Aragona Hospital in Salerno for further investigations.” The Frenchman made five appearances for the shirt of Salernitana: he also took the field against Frosinone, in the last championship match.
