San Giorgio and Pro Mortara together for the youth teams

SAN GIORGIO LOMELLINA

After the promotion to the Second category, the San Giorgio pushes on the accelerator also with regard to the youth sector: in the last hours, in fact, the agreement between the Sangiorgese team and the Pro Mortara for the development of the youth sector has been formalized. The first act will be the training of a group of students who will be enrolled in the category championship, but the project foresees a further development in the coming years. “” In this phase – underlines the general manager of San Giorgio, Alex Fornasiero -, we are setting up the student team that will take part in next year. Then in the following season, the 2023-2024 championship, we will also have a junior team with the boys who will move up in the category after having made the students this year. It is an important project that we want to carry out year after year, without rushing, but doing things in the best way “”. Meanwhile, the San Giorgio has also been renewed at the corporate and first team level: the new president is the entrepreneur Mirko Zoccheddu, active in the catering sector, while the new coach of the Lomellina team – who will participate in the Second category tournament from newly promoted – is the former Lomellina Diego Santoro. For the Lomellini also three arrivals to reinforce the team to be made available to Mr. Santoro: the additions of Cristian Aguggia and Bryan Rossi, both ex Lomellina, are official, while Kevin Rota arrives from Superga. The San Giorgio is trying to do things big and in the next Second League championship in which, albeit as a freshman, the Lomellina team will try to stay in the upper floors, trying to fight for a high ranking position. –
