Colombian playmaker, James Rodríguez, has decided to stay at Brazilian club São Paulo, much to the relief of the team’s technical coordinator, Muricy Ramalho. The manager praised the behavior and commitment of James, stating that the player has apologized and expressed his desire to continue playing for the team.
After only seven months with the São Paulo team, James initially requested to leave due to limited playing time. However, following his decision to stay, the 32-year-old former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich player is committed to at least one more season at São Paulo.
São Paulo has also enjoyed success, winning the Brazilian Cup and the Brazilian Super Cup. Although James did not play in the final games, the midfielder expressed his commitment to the team with a social media post captioned “Something good is coming” that was accompanied by a photo of him training with a São Paulo bib.
