Super species in Brazil: the third Feltre in her debut in the World Cup

In a race with 23 athletes (the costs of the South American trip limited participation), the Wilier Pirelli Feltrina, Italian category champion, she took the lead from the first lap, together with Sara Cortinovis from Lombardy, Line Bourquier from France and Sofie Pedersen from Denmark.

The latter did not resist shortly on the wheels of her escape companions and the race soon became a three-way affair. During the third lap the transalpina opened the throttle and the two blue were unable to keep up with her.
In the end, victory for Bourquier with 56 ”over Cortinovis and 1’46” over Specia. Two Italians on the podium, a really not bad debut for the Under 23 fat wheels in this debut of the 2022 Cup. The Under 23 men’s race (54 athletes at the start, also reduced in number), saw the success of the champion of the world, the Chilean Martin Vidaurre Kossmann.

The champion preceded the Swiss Janis Baumann by 36 “and the Ukrainian Oleksander Hudyma by 1’07”. Beautiful fifth place for Andreas Emanuele Vittone.
Today it will be the turn of the elite categories. Giorgia Marchet and Mirko Tabacchi will compete.
