SASSARI. The Esperia Cagliari is confirmed at the top of the Sardinian movement in the weekend dedicated to youth swimming in the boys category, which was staged in Dolianova. The Cagliari club in fact climbed to the top step of the podium with a haul of 503.50 points, ahead of the Sport Full Time Sassari with 457.50 and the Atlantide Elmas, which reached 456. The podium only touched instead for the Acqua Sport Cagliari, which stopped at an altitude of 416, while the Sporter Sassari arrived at 179 much further away.
A kermesse that recorded a strong participation at the regional level, one week after the tournament dedicated to the senior categories cadets and juniors staged in Cagliari. In fact, it is not surprising that the individual results did not record regional records, since the athletes have precise roadmaps in view of the most important commitments, namely the Italian youth championships, from 25 to 30 March in Riccione, and the Italian spring championships, from 9 to 13 April. Events for which island swimmers have high expectations, after a period in which, despite the many difficulties faced due to the closure or limited availability of the facilities, they were unable to work to the best of their ability.
