The girl five years disappearance Saturday night in the province of Campobasso was found alive and in good condition near a sports field about a kilometer and a half from the country house where she lived.
Almost 12 hours after her departure, she was spotted by a helicopter from the policewith on board the men of the Alpine rescue. The girl was subjected to medical examinations but she immediately appeared in good health, taking into account the night spent in the open with temperatures below zero.

“My niece is fine, she has only a few scratches, she was in the bushes two kilometers from home. I talked to her, as soon as she saw me she recognized me immediately and she smiled at me ”. This was stated by the grandfather of little Nicole immediately after the discovery of the little girl who had disappeared last night in Sant’Angelo Limosano (Campobasso). “She is miraculously alive – he adds – given the cold last night. I was afraid only of the cold, she might not even have made it with the sub-zero temperatures we had and then I couldn’t imagine that she could go a long way alone and at night “. The man also confirms that the little girl left after a reprimand: “My daughter was alone in the house with her two children, her husband was not there-she tells-her. She scolded the baby and then left her in front of the television to go and feed the younger baby on her bed. She says she stayed in the other room for about 20 minutes. When she went back to the kitchen she found the ground floor window open with a chair placed next to the radiator, right under the window and she Nicole was gone ”.
THE WHOLE COMMUNITY COMMITTED TO RESEARCH
For little Nicole the communities of Limosano and Sant’Angelo Limosano were mobilized and the searches continued throughout the night and in the morning with the participation of the Police, Carabinieri, Fire Brigade and hundreds of volunteers. In the field also dog units, drones for the search for heat and a helicopter from breaking latest news. The mobilization had also produced an appeal on Facebook with some photos of the girl with long brown hair to solicit useful elements for finding her.
