Assigned the provincial titles under men and women Maria Sole Albini beats Montalba in the Vogherese derby

Re-proposed after the suspension due to the Covid emergency, the provincial youth tennis championships have assigned the 2022 titles to the promises from Pavia on the fields of the Canottieri Ticino in Pavia. Eight scoreboards, for men and women from Under 10 to Under 16, under the orders of referee Marco Biso assisted by maestro Roberto Dono.
In the men, for the Under 10 category, Tommaso Nicholas Matti, of the Oltrepo Tennis Academy, won in the final 6-2, 6-0 over his clubmate Federico Ravazzoli. In the Under 12, the new provincial champion is the young tennis player of the Motonautica Pavia, Emanuele Bianchi who beat another player of the Motorboat, Francesco Romano, for 6-2, 7-5 in the final act of the tournament. Also in the Under 14 Motonautica title with Pietro Stripli who, with a double 6-2, ruled Damiano Della Torre of the Oasis of Fuori Milano (Ferrera). Also Della Torre, although in the tournament for the Under 16s, he finished second beaten by Matteo Tassisto of the Voghera Country Club with part times of 6-1, 6-4.
In the women’s draw, Rachele Barbieri of the Pavia Tennis Club is the new provincial Under 10 champion: she overtook Carolina Angeleri of the Voghera Country Club 6-1, 6-0 in the final of the category. In the Under 12, a challenge between young promises of the same club, the Voghera Country Club: the provincial title went to Maria Sole Albini who ruled Azzurra Montalba with a double 6-0. In the Under 14 Vigevanese victory with Ludovica Goi of Selva Alta (6-3, 6-1) who prevailed over Martina Pozzi, player of Coutry Club Voghera). To complete the women’s Under 16 finals Silvia Davico of Dema Sport Bressana won the title by winning 6-3, 4-0 and retirement of her opponent Ginevra Biglieri (Oltrepo Tennis Academy).
The absolutes
The absolute provincial titles, on the other hand, will be assigned to Ferrera Erbognone on the fields of the Oasis of Fuori Milano. From 9 to 24 July there will be play for the assignment of the male titles of singles and doubles, while from 17 September to 2 October for those of the female category. –
