The NBA sanctions the Knicks with $25,000

The NBA has announced a $25,000 penalty for the New York Knicks for violating the “injury notification” rules during their game against the Toronto Raptors on March 27. The penalty is in relation to center Mitchell Robinson’s return to the court after overcoming a right foot injury.

In that game, the Knicks dominated with a 145-101 victory, marking Robinson’s first official game since December 2023. The center had an impressive performance, contributing 8 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 blocks with a perfect 3/3 shooting in just 12 minutes as a reserve.

The Knicks are gearing up to face the Bulls in their next game as they battle for third to sixth place in the Eastern Conference. With key players available for the game, the team will be without Julius Randle, who opted for surgery on his right shoulder and will miss the remainder of the season.

Meanwhile, in other NBA news, Stephen Curry has set yet another three-point record, surpassing his own previous record. Stay tuned for more updates on the NBA action.
