The press conference to present the new Panini “Calciatori 2023-2024” collection took place this morning at the International Broadcasting Center – the cutting-edge production center of Lega Serie A.

The collection, now in its 63rd edition, was officially launched in Lissone with an audience of excellent guests: from Lorenzo Casini, President of the Lega Serie A, to Luigi De Siervo, CEO of the Lega Serie A, and by Alex Bertani, Director of the Italian Market Panini, to Matteo Marani, President of the Lega Pro, from Federica Cappelletti, President of the FIGC Women’s Football Division, to the President of AIC Umberto Calcagno and to the Vice President of AIAC Giancarlo Camolese. Also present were the three international champions Ambassador Lega Serie A Gianluca Zambrotta, David Pizarro and Aldair, together with Alessandro Buongiorno, Panini Ambassador.

The new Panini “Footballers 2023-2024” collection includes among its licensees the Lega Serie A, the Lega Serie B, the Lega Pro, the AIC and the AIAC, as well as the Women’s Serie A. The album is made up of 697 stickers to be collected in 128 pages, with the cover characterized by the image of the players of the Serie A clubs, one for each team. The absolute novelty is the narrative voice of Pierluigi Pardo which presents, in addition to the players lined up on the cover, also the Elite stickers of each Serie A team, as well as the possibility of listening to the voices of the Serie A TIM champions, three per team, through the Panini Collectors App.

There are many new features for the album which, for over sixty years, has fascinated millions of Italians and which is synonymous with the history of footballers and Italian football. The graphics of the players’ stickers change which guarantees an important and increasingly modern visual impact, giving great importance to the shirt number, in addition to the player who emerges even more from the sticker with an always different backdrop for each one which makes up the background of the page . Furthermore, the sachets of the new collection are richer with 7 stickers inside and an extra collection sticker dedicated to the Serie A Tim and Serie BKT clubs with the coupon on the back.

An important turning point that expands the pleasure and passion in collecting football stickers.” There are many special stickers present in the collection, one above all that of Gianluigi Buffon to whom sticker number 1 has been dedicated in his new role as team manager of the Italian national team: an incredible journey that began with sticker 228 from the 1995-1996 Footballers collection.

Another important novelty concerns the presence of a page dedicated to the eSerie A TIM championship, with the shields of the protagonist teams, in addition to the return of the lineups of all the Serie C teams, flanked by the official coat of arms to make the pages of this even richer exciting championship. After the success of previous seasons, the Panini Digital Collection is confirmed, a platform on which to register the code found in the coupons contained in each sachet. Also this year, in addition to the stickers of the players of the 3 groups of Serie C, the possibility of having stickers of the protagonists of the Women’s Serie A to collect in the Footballers album. For both the Serie C and Serie A Women’s collections, once the digital collection is completed, collectors will be able to order the physical version of the album with all the stickers.
