Mechanical failure and forced to retire. The adventure of Christian Versaci, sixteen-year-old driver of the Hp4offrod Team, on the first day of the Italian quad championship, last Sunday, 10 April on the Malpensa track, ended in the second heat. The reigning champion driver in the under 16 category, after having qualified sixteenth, out of twenty-two drivers, in the timed trials, in the first heat managed to get a twelfth place, while in the second, a few laps from the end, he was in eighth position. The quad suddenly lost power due to a mechanical failure and was forced to see the end of the race disconsolate from the pits. “Bad luck haunts me, after France also in Italy,” says the young driver from San Giustiano. –
