San Giorgio beats Hellas Torrazza 2-0 in the play-off final of group A in the third category and breaks the ticket for the higher category. The Lomellina team – which would also have sufficed for a draw due to their best placement in the standings at the end of the regular championship – yesterday afternoon beat the Oltrepadani of Hellas Torrazza 2-0, celebrating their promotion to the Second category at the end. Decisive for the San Giorgio team was the double from Pederzani who, after a first half closed at 0-0, decided the match with a brace scored in a golden quarter between 15 ‘and 30’ of the second half. At the threefold whistle of the referee, the feast of San Giorgio started, thus detaching the ticket for the higher category. The San Giorgio had finished second in the regular championship behind Pro Ferrera – who yesterday also won the provincial title in the final against the Don Bosco Oratory – but won this play off thus obtaining the jump in the category. The ambitious Lomellina formation of the patron Fornasiero thus achieved the promotion goal.
