With its dust- and mud-resistant design, the GPR-H1000 is equipped with Casio’s Triple Sensor, which measures compass direction, altitude/barometric pressure and temperature. Casio does not specify exact battery life for daily use, however it estimates that the watch can run for approximately 2 months with the heart rate monitor turned off, and allows continuous use of GPS and heart rate monitoring for approximately 14-19 hours. This extended life is especially beneficial in environments where charging options are limited.
Furthermore, the GPR-H1000 integrates a solar charging system, which allows the built-in solar panel to convert light into electrical energy, whether natural or artificial, thus helping to keep the battery charged. This feature further extends battery life, ensuring the watch remains operational even in the absence of traditional power sources.
The GPR-H1000’s battery can also be recharged via USB cable, with the watch’s basic functions powered solely by solar energy to keep the time display active even at low charge levels.
