CANAVESE TOWER
The Valpergene Paolo Boggio (Gpd Aldo Berardo) won yesterday in Torre Canavese the 40th edition of the Gir d’la Tor on the 7.4 km route, an event organized by the Municipality of Torre in collaboration with the Uisp committee of Ivrea & Canavese. The race was valid for the 21st Uisp Canavese running circuit.
Massive participation with 240 athletes. Definitely challenging route on a track in the hills around Torre, with ups and downs. The winner Boggio took 27 ’08 “to cover the 7.4 kilometers, and preceded by a few seconds the second classified Giulio Garello (Atletica Racconigi), from third to fifth place three other Aldo Berardo athletes, in order to third came Vezio Bozza at 15 seconds, behind him fourth was Simone Cordera and fifth Emanuele Ladetto.
In the women’s field, success of Maria Rosa Erario of the Peretti Team who finished her race in 32 ’24 ”, reaching the thirty-first place overall in the ranking. Place of honor in the women’s field for Maria Antonietta Di Napoli (Aldo Berardo) who suffered a delay of almost four minutes. To complete the third female podium Monica Milanetto (Gspt 74) delayed by the winner by over five minutes, completed the top five among women Barbara Goglio (Aldo Berardo) and Erica Pegoraro (Podistica Bairese).
