In the annual summer appointment for the presentation of the new team and corporate projects, the Union Calcio Basso Pavese does not hide. A team already potentially competitive to fight for the top positions of the Promotion tournament, this year has included various elements such as the former Excellence, the midfielder Davide Dragoni from Varzi and the striker Odi former Codogno and beyond.
The squad includes the goalkeepers Gabriele Di Chiazza and the young man born in 2002 Thomas Morini, the defenders Nicholas Coppini, Alessandro Di Cristo, Jacopo Fedegari, Daniele Longhi, Gianni Quirino and Alberto Vigoni, joined by Andrea Migliavacca and Landriano Edoardo Fiammenghi and Alessio Marini. Davide Dragoni arrived in midfield after four seasons at Varzi, joining Damiano Alberici, Fabio Blinishta, Matteo Fassina, Shoat Mahmoud, Stefano Ronchi and Luca Zinzi. In attack with the new-entries Roberto Odi (Codogno) and Federico Manzo (Landriano) they will add further quality to a department that counted on Pietro Amaro, Riccardo Coccu, Mohamed Fouad and Mattia Giorno.
“The first thing will be to form a group, the example of the recent Azzurri national team who won the European Championships has shown this, also because the quality in this group is certainly not lacking and also the potential”, reiterated the president Fabio Spada flanked by the general manager Francesco Gangemi .
Alongside them the new yellow and black diesse Gerardo Bruno, former Roncaro, Vistarino and Landriano, who has worked for important grafts. “I accepted with enthusiasm to be part of this adventure with the aim of building a team to win starting from an already excellent base that Union Calcio Basso Pavese had”, reiterated the sports director Bruno who led from Landriano, with whom he Mr. Valerio Bernorio has worked in recent years who will be joined by Mattia Pirrello (assistant and athletic trainer), Danilo Parlarmi (goalkeeper trainer) and Attilio Dordoni (collaborator).
“They asked me to build a dream and to make it come true I need to build it in the daily training and matches we will play,” Bernorio told his players present during the presentation.
The mayors of Villanterio Silvio Corbellini and Magherno Giovanni Amato and the councilor of the Municipality of Santa Cristina Flavio Cassinari were present in the sports project that involves various municipalities. For the start of the next season, the First Team and Juniores team manager will be Andrea Pavani, while Giuseppe Pelagalli will be confirmed as the technical guide of the Juniores.
