UTLO Events ssdrl, which has always organized the event, has seen its organizational skills recognized by receiving the task of organizing the Italian Long Trail Championships from the Italian Athletics Federation which will be held over a distance of 75 km with a positive difference in altitude of approximately 3,800 m.
“It is a great honor for us – explains Vincenzo Bertina, president of UTLO Events – to organize the tricolors over the longest and most prestigious distance, a sign that the work done in 2020, in the midst of the COVID pandemic, has been recognized by the Federation, which has reassigned us the Championships after only 4 years”.
We remember that in 2020 the winners of the title were two very high level athletes such as Andreas Reiterer, who graduated world vice champion in 2023, and Giuditta Turini, always among the best at an international level.
The calendar of events
In addition to the 75 km, as always, there will be many races scheduled, after the success of 2023 when there were almost 1600 total participants, coming from 33 nations.
UTLO Village will open on Friday 11/10, with the official presentation of the athletes who will compete for the tricolor.
On Saturday 12/10, the 75KM, 4,010 m D+, the 55KM (approximately 54.2 km), 2,860 m D+, and the 12KM (approximately 11.7 km), 360 M D will take place.
On Sunday 13/10 there will be two races: the 34KM, 2,000 m D+ and the 21KM, with 980 m D+
Also confirmed is UTLINO Run, a race dedicated to children between 3 and 12 years old, in collaboration with the Gianni Rodari Fantasy Park and the Omegna Forum.

It is already possible to register for the races of the 2024 edition of VIBRAM UTLO, as always on the platform www.wedosport.net.
The world of Trail will be on Lake Orta from 11 to 13 October 2024!
