Padua, 1 April 2022 – Una burst of ice one fell today in the Paduan area violent hailstorm it “whitewashed” the roads and caused inconvenience to the roads. It happened in the early afternoon. Motorists trapped by the hail discharge, in the next few hours awaits the damage counts. The wave of bad weather hit the northern area of Padua, with more intense phenomena a Cadoneghe, Vigonza e Selvazzano. Large ice bullets literally covered the ground.
Bad weather then returned to Veneto as well, with thunderstorms and violent hailstorms in a large area of Padua. The areas affected in the early afternoon were Vigodarzere, LimenaCadoneghe, Villafranca, Saccolongo, Borgoricco. The hail, at times violent and copious, covered roads and sidewalks and created problems for motorists, with the road network in crisis.
