Volleyball Belluno a name, two companies: the male will be srl, the women will remain asd

The Drl changes its name to join the League and make the A3 Sandro Cucco: “But with the women’s sector no detachment”

BELLUNO. One name, two companies. From the two souls of Volleyball Belluno, the male and the female, two distinct companies were born. The male one, naturally linked to the Da Rold Logistics brand, will be called Pallavolo Belluno srl. It is a capital company (to be exact a limited liability company) and was established from scratch in order to join the Legavolley and participate in the A3 series championship. The first team will play their home games on Sunday, at 6 pm, at the Spes Arena. And it is with Spes Belluno that an agreement is now in the pipeline to collaborate in the men’s youth field. The women’s one will keep the old name of amateur sports association (Volleyball Belluno asd). It will include the B2 team and the “pink” nursery. In the next few days it will be called to meet in the assembly to elect a new board. In the meantime, in the summer, a possible collaboration with Volleyball Sedico was discussed (a collaboration which, however, seems to be set aside at the moment), while the sponsorship of the Cortina Express brand has yet to be confirmed. Sandro Cucco, vice president in charge of Volleyball Belluno and head of the women’s sector (as well as the main suspect in the position of new president of the women’s team) was among those who have spent the most in recent weeks.

Volleyball Belluno: one name, two clubs?

“Yes, Volleyball Belluno had to be divided into two companies: not because there was the will of the partners, but because in order to participate in the men’s Serie A championship, the League requires it to be set up as a limited company, which would have created problems in the management of the women’s team which, playing in B2, is enrolled in the Federvolley but not in the League ».

Hence the decision to create two distinct companies, each with its own management?

«But between the two companies», Cucco assures, «there will remain a constructive collaboration. The shareholders’ meeting will be convened in the next few days, also because all the papers must be deposited by 30 July. What is certain is that both in the masculine and in the feminine there is the will to move up in the category: if not in the immediate future, in the not too distant future “.

In recent weeks, managers of Volleyball Belluno and Sedico have been thinking around a table. Is that so?

«It is normal that in a territory like that of Belluno we try to understand if there are the conditions for collaborations. With Sedico there was an exchange of opinions and thoughts. But at this time there is no official or forthcoming collaboration agreement. Volleyball Belluno will continue to compete in the B2 series championship and will do so at De Mas under the guidance of the reconfirmed coaches Pavei and Viel. And in the same way we intend to carry out our youth project. If something will change tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow, today I cannot predict ».

In the men’s, the rose has been revolutionized. Will it be the same for women?

«For now the only certain goodbyes are those of Giulia Pavei and Anna Bortoluzzi, for study reasons. We greet them reluctantly because they are two girls who have given so much and will remain in the hearts of us managers and fans. For the rest, if there will be other departures we will take action to insert athletes of at least the same thickness. The goal is to equip a B2 team that can aim for a high-ranking championship, even if we know that there are a thousand unknowns and, in the end, it is always the pitch that speaks ».
