Phuket, Thailand- Chinese weightlifter Li Wenwen showcased her dominance once again at the 2024 Weightlifting World Cup held in Phuket, Thailand on April 10th. Li Wenwen, who is the reigning Tokyo Olympics champion and world record holder in the women’s 87kg and above category, secured three gold medals in the snatch, clean and jerk, and total score competitions.

During the competition, Li Wenwen lifted an impressive 145kg in the snatch and 180kg in the clean and jerk, finishing with a total score of 325kg. Her performance was unmatched, with a 29kg lead over South Korean player Park Hye-jung, who claimed the second spot.
