Tonight, in fact, there will be the American Sport Night in the DaiBraders club in via della Cooperation: “We will have an aperitif starting at 7.30 pm – explains Marco Meneghetti, president of Metalco Thunders and Dragons – we will be there as a club and our friends Cavaliers . It is a way to get together, exchange opinions and thank all the sponsors who give us a hand. It will be an opportunity to celebrate in an “American” setting and we will also try to bring a breath of fresh air, even if we are a reality that has existed for 52 years ».
This is just the advance because then, on Sunday, there will be a big appointment at the Tantillo stadium in via Malvolta for the American Sport Day to try to get involved in football, baseball and softball from 10 am to 6 pm, with the possibility of stop for lunch: “The field will be divided into two, one part for American football and one for baseball and softball – explains Michele Squizzato, player, manager and physiotherapist of the Castelfranco Cavaliers – there will be practical demonstrations of the two teams with half hour of time available for each team. There will also be the opportunity to try sports first hand: for baseball and softball those who come to the field can try their hand at throwing, serving and making some half innings.
