In the early morning of the 18th Beijing time, the draw ceremony for the 2022 Women’s Volleyball World Championships was held at the FIVB headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland. The Chinese women’s volleyball team is in Group D, with opponents in the same group being Brazil, Japan, Colombia, Argentina and the Czech Republic. The top 4 in the group advance to Phase 2.
There are 24 teams participating in this World Championship, and a total of 100 games will be played. In the first stage of the group stage, the 24 teams will be divided into 4 groups, and each group of 6 teams will compete in a single round-robin competition. The top 4 teams in each group will advance to the top 16 semi-finals.

The 2022 World Women’s Volleyball Championship will be held from September 23 to October 15 and will be jointly hosted by the Netherlands and Poland.

Group A Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Puerto Rico, Cameroon, Kenya
Group B Poland, Turkey, Dominica, South Korea, Thailand, Croatia
Group C USA, Serbia, Germany, Bulgaria, Canada, Kazakhstan
Group D Brazil, China, Japan, Colombia, Argentina, Czech Republic
