Rome, 15 December 2021 – The epidemic of Covid (today over 23 thousand infections and 129 deaths). And fears of color changes in different regions. The Province of Trento and Liguria seem destined for the yellow zone, the Veneto in the balance. Lombardy and Lazio at risk, as well as the Marche. This is the picture that emerges from the Agenas data on the occupancy of the beds updated to tonight.

Trento has exceeded both the threshold of intensive care (set at 10%) and that of hospitalizations (at 15%), having respectively 21% and 19% of occupancy: in all probability the control room that will meet on Friday morning will opt for the color change. Same fate for the Liguria, which to date has 13% intensive and 17% ordinary beds occupied.

On the wire the Veneto, which has exceeded the threshold of intensive (increased to 14%) and is right at the limit for ordinary hospitalizations, at 15%.

At risk, even if still below the limits, the Lombardy, which has 9% intensive and 14% in the ordinary wards, and the Lazio, which has exceeded the threshold of intensive care (at 12%) but remains below for hospitalizations, at 13%. Same goes for the Market, with intensive over the threshold at 14% and ordinary hospitalizations on the wire at 15%.

Yellow zone at Christmas, Bonaccini: “Is Emilia Romagna in danger? We’ll see”

Currently there are three Regions already in yellow: the Friuli Venezia Giulia (which has 17% intensive and 23% ordinary posts occupied), Bolzano (18% in both items) and the Calabria, which has 21% of occupancy in a non-critical area but has dropped to 10% for resuscitation, right on the wire.
