Youth Trophy: Zanardi, Zardini and Esposito trio of aces

Respectively a silver and two bronzes to the Giant of Tarvisio; in the top 10 also Riccardo Tassi and Mattia Venturin

TARVISIO. Tommaso Zanardi, Jacopo Zardini and Maria Sole Esposito, three Belluno-colored medals at the national finals of the 44th Giovanissimi Alpine Skiing Grand Prix. Over the weekend in Tarvisio the best Italian athletes in the Baby and Puppy categories from 9 to 12 years old fought each other in a giant slalom. In the under 12 the Ampezzano Tommaso Zanardi of the Cortina ski school won a great silver, while two bronze medals arrive for the Cristallo ski school with Jacopo Zardini and with Maria Sole Esposito in the under 11.
Also in the under 12s good performance also for Riccardo Tassi and Mattia Venturin, both in the top 10.
In the Baby excellent sixth place for Michelle Dal Farra. At the arrival of Tarvisio, Kristian Ghedina was also present as testimonial, who took part in the athletes’ awards ceremony and which marks a thread of union with Cortina that will host the finals of the Grand Prix next year.
