Almaviva: revenues +8% to over 1 billion euros

The general meeting of Almaviva shareholders unanimously ratified the 2023 financial results.

The Group recorded a turnover that exceeded one billion euros, reaching the figure of 1,156 million in 2023 and marking a growth of 8% compared to the previous year. The economic numbers outline a development trend for the Group expressed in the adjusted EBITDA of 211 million euros (+16.4%) and in the adjusted margin of 18.3%. The Backlog is also significant and stands at around 2.5 billion, corresponding to 3.0x the ’23 revenues. Finally, financial leverage (net debt/Ebitda ratio) stands at 0.9x.

“2023, which marked 40 years of entrepreneurial activity, was a year of further growth, positive for the Almaviva Group both in terms of turnover and margins, in all areas of the business – comments Alberto Tripi, president of the Group – Over the years we have grown sustainably, both in Italy and abroad, transforming the potential offered by technological innovation into the creation of shared value”.

The hiring plan for 2024

Growth has been accompanied by the constant integration of skills and new talent. “In the last three years we have hired around three thousand professionals in Italy, over a thousand in 2023 alone, mostly young people under 30. For 2024 we have planned an ambitious program of hiring new professionals on the national territory”, concludes Tripi, recently appointed special advisor for Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity in the new presidential team of Confindustria.

The lawyer Francesca Mariotti, previously General Director of Confindustria, takes office as an independent director on the Board of Directors of the parent company Almaviva spa.
