As an entry-level/mid-range graphics card, the AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT is primarily aimed at anyone who wants to play in Full HD. She simply feels most comfortable in 1080p. The graphics card is based on the Navi 33 GPU and has a total of 2,048 computing cores. With a clock speed of up to 2,760 MHz, which corresponds to a computing power (FP32) of around 22.6 TFLOPs.
Compared to the AMD Radeon RX 7600 (without XT at the end), this is only a small jump in performance on paper. A special highlight, however, is the video memory. This is doubled from 8 to 16 GB GDDR6. AMD puts the power consumption at 190 watts.

In most games, the increase in performance is a few percentage points – you can expect an increase of between 5 and 15 percent. “Cyberpunk: 2077” has an average of more than 60 FPS. In “Baldur’s Gate 3” it is almost 80 FPS and in “Assassin’s Creed Mirage” it is a little over 90 FPS.
However, the doubled graphics memory ensures that the AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT still performs well in individual games significantly better performs better than its non-XT variant. Memory-hungry titles in particular, such as the PC version of “Ratchet & Clank,” benefit enormously from the innovation. Thanks to the memory, the AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT actually performs better than an actually much stronger Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti.
The graphics card is particularly interesting with a view to the future. Since video games are becoming more and more memory hungry, the AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT should be able to exploit its great strengths better and better as time goes on.
