Ayaneo Unveils Retro Series Mini PC AM02 with AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS Processor
Ayaneo, the tech company known for its innovative mini PC products, has once again made waves in the market with the launch of its latest model, the AM02. Following the success of the AM01, which took inspiration from the Apple Macintosh computer, the AM02 draws its design from the US version of the Nintendo game console and is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor.
Compared to its predecessor, the AM01, which features the Ryzen 7 5700U low-voltage version mobile processor, the AM02 boasts a higher-performance Ryzen 7 7840HS processor. This upgrade allows gamers to enjoy a smooth 3A-level gaming experience at normal medium image quality settings. The AM02 comes with 16GB DDR5 memory by default, with an option to expand up to an additional 64GB capacity. The storage capacity will be equipped with a 1TB specification by default and can be expanded up to 8TB. The mini PC also features a 45W high-performance four-copper tube cooling system to ensure efficient heat dissipation during intense gaming sessions.
In terms of connectivity, the AM02 includes 1 USB-C, 1 USB-A, 1 HDMI output, 1 RJ-45 network cable connection hole, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also supports Wi-Fi 6E wireless network connection and comes pre-installed with the Windows 11 64-bit home Chinese version operating system.
For those who prefer to customize their specifications, Ayaneo offers a barebone option without preset memory and storage capacity, allowing users to purchase and install SO-DIMM memory and M.22280 PCle 4.0 SSD and prepare their own operating system.
A notable feature of the AM02 is its additional 4-inch touch screen, which can display various information such as weather, time, and performance modes. The mini PC also comes with the option for personalized screen animations.
The AM02 is set to be priced starting at US$500, with early bird pre-orders available at a discounted price of US$440. In the Chinese market, it will be sold at a starting price of RMB 2,599. Additional accessories such as controllers will need to be purchased separately. The AM02 is expected to make a significant impact in the gaming community with its powerful performance and unique design.
