Adong, a frequent user of Copilot, has something to ask for advice. In the past, Adong has been testing the application of Copilot in various files, particularly in Excel, and has found it incredibly helpful in handling daily tasks. However, one major issue has arisen – after successfully using Copilot in the EDGE browser, it cannot be used for Word files.
With this in mind, Adong turned to the EDGE browser to see what it could do for handling different file formats such as PDF and Txt files, as well as analyzing YouTube videos. Through this testing, Adong discovered that different browsers may have different functions after installing the extension software.
In a recent update, Microsoft has improved Copilot’s word processing capabilities. The standard version can now handle up to 8,000 characters at a time, while the Copilot Pro version can process up to 16,000 characters. Additionally, Copilot now supports analyzing PDF and txt files, enhancing its diversity and practicality.
The upgrade in server specifications has also allowed Copilot to perform more powerfully on Windows 10, Windows 11, as well as the web version and Microsoft Edge browser. Along with an increased character processing capacity, Copilot can now analyze PDF, Word, and other documents to help users extract key information or create summaries.
As Microsoft continues to enhance the Copilot service, users can expect further updates and features such as the ability to upload various files for analysis and translation, as well as verifying content authenticity through the Bing Search service.
Looking ahead, Microsoft plans to release guidelines for artificial intelligence application tools within the Copilot service this summer to align with U.S. government security requirements. Additionally, the integration of Copilot with more Microsoft products is in the works to expand the application scope of artificial intelligence technology.
For Adong and other users seeking advice on maximizing the potential of Copilot, these updates and future enhancements promise to make the tool even more valuable in handling a wide range of tasks across different file formats and applications.
