Balloon Studios Unveils Comfort Sim Botany Manor, Set to Launch on April 9th
During a closed ID@Xbox demo, Balloon Studios offered a sneak peek into their upcoming comfort sim, Botany Manor. Creative director, Laure De May, showcased the gameplay of this botanical puzzle set in Victorian England, specifically in the Somerset area.
Botany Manor provides players with a calming and relaxing gardening research experience, tasking them with creating new plants and transforming their garden into a delightful orchard. Players must collect clues for each plant/task, such as seed type, pot size, necessary tools like a microscope, and a press to extract juices and nutrients. The gameplay encourages players to observe and follow their instincts.
De May cited the Croft Manor Gardens in Tomb Raider as a major inspiration for Botany Manor, expressing a desire to spend hours in that virtual space. The game is set to launch on PC, Xbox, and Game Pass on April 9th. Fans are eager to see if Botany Manor will become their new haven for unwinding and escaping daily stresses.
