NVIDIA wows at CES 2024 with new technologies
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is once again the hub for cutting-edge technology, and NVIDIA is making waves with its dynamic display of new and innovative technologies. The company has showcased several intriguing new developments, and we have some of the highlights to share with you.
One of the most exciting new technologies on display is ACE, Chat with RTX, which allows gamers to interact with in-game characters using voice commands. ACE uses AI and a large language model (LLM) to enable characters in the game to respond to players’ voice commands. This creates a more immersive gaming experience as the characters can generate unique responses based on the player’s questions, making the interaction feel more natural and dynamic.
NVIDIA also plans to launch the Chat with RTX tool software in January 2024, allowing users to run it on RTX 30/40 series graphics cards and graphics chips equipped with more than 16GB of display memory. This will simplify the process of setting up chatbots on local computers and allow users to load text files in various formats or YouTube video links into the program for AI-based organization and responses.
In addition to ACE, NVIDIA also showcased the latest progress of the remastered version of “Thriller 2 RTX”, which has been enhanced with advanced graphics technologies such as ray tracing to significantly improve the game’s picture quality. The company also unveiled the RTX Remix tool, which allows users to modify game images and replace 3D models without requiring any original code modification, simplifying the game development process.
Furthermore, NVIDIA demonstrated the acceleration of AI image generation through TensorRT, showcasing the capabilities of Stable Diffusion and iStock. These advancements are expected to revolutionize the field of image generation and are sure to be a game-changer for developers and content creators.
All of these cutting-edge technologies have left tech enthusiasts eagerly anticipating the future of gaming and AI development. With NVIDIA at the helm, the possibilities for innovation and advancement in the tech industry seem endless.
