SEGA to Launch “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” Game on Nintendo Switch and Other Platforms
Exciting news for fans of the popular anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” as SEGA announces the launch of a new game based on the series. The game, titled “Demon Slayer’s Blade Eyes! The Strongest Trooper!”, will be available on the Nintendo Switch console starting April 25th, with support for Traditional Chinese and other languages.
Developed by Aniplex, the board game style gameplay of “Demon Slayer’s Blade Eyes!” allows players to become a part of the Demon Slayer world and team up to defeat enemies. The game will also be released on PS, Xbox, and PC versions from July 17th.
In addition, SEGA has revealed that the popular character “Kurihana Rakukana” will be introduced as a new player character in all versions of the game, including the newly released PS, Xbox, and Steam versions. Fans can look forward to more updates and free character releases in the future, with the character “Chanahu” set to join the game in the summer of 2024.
SEGA will be handling the sales of the digital download and boxed versions of the game in Asia for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam platforms. Players who pre-order the digital download version will receive special redemption coupons and sticker sets as bonuses.
