This year the popular film series “Despicable Me” is entering its fourth round. To mark the occasion, LEGO has now unveiled a few related sets.

The fourth film is fittingly celebrated with four new sets. While the film will be shown on the big screen from July 11th, the sets will go on sale on May 1st, 2024. Only two of the four sets have been officially presented so far. There is no concrete information about the other two yet.
Set number 1 is the house of Gru and his family. Featuring iconic architecture and beloved elements from the film, such as the red couch, fireplace and rocket-themed bedroom, as well as a colorful treehouse.
The scope of delivery includes a total of eight minifigures, including three Minions and the new baby from the upcoming film. The set consists of 868 pieces and when assembled is 27 cm high, 21 cm wide and 11 cm deep. The RRP is 99.99 euros.
The second set is a brick-built Gru with dancing Minions – completed by a ukulele-playing Mel and Kevin, armed with his fart cannon. A total of 839 terminal blocks cost 54.99 euros. The dimensions are 28 x 23 x 16 cm.
“Fans have told us they miss LEGO Minions and we’re excited to bring this world of mischievous fun back to them through exciting new play experiences. We hope that the new sets will delight every fan – small and large,” says Solvita Akmene, designer at the LEGO Group.
