The #believebandich Challenge comes to Graz in the eighth round of the City Pitches. On Tuesday, March 5th, five startups from the Green Mobility category will be competing there to present their exciting concepts. The event starts at 6 p.m. in the Steiermärkische Sparkasse. Registration to attend the event live as a spectator can be found here.

The winning startup will then compete in Vienna on April 3rd with the winners of the other city pitches for the title “Startup of the Year 2024”. The winning teams of the City Pitches also receive a cash prize of 1,000 euros from Erste Bank and Sparkasse as well as two annual licenses for wîse up, the digital platform for training and further education for Austria’s economy.

Since its launch in 2018, this initiative has established itself as an essential part of promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in Austria. It offers a unique platform on which young, visionary companies can present their innovative solutions and network directly with investors and mentors. The Graz-based startup easily wants to advance e-mobility by strengthening the charging network for e-cars. The easily app enables private and semi-public charging parks and aims to make the switch to electric cars easier for everyone through attractive charging options.

The young company Fourown from Vorarlberg has set itself the task of revolutionizing bicycle transport and sustainably improving the local infrastructure. Their flagship product, “Bike.in,” a radio-frequency identification (RFID)-based bike parking system, is key to this vision. Radio-Frequency Identification means that contactless data exchange takes place between a transponder and a reading device.

MAVIS

MAVIS from Upper Austria claims to be developing the “first van operating system”. The young company’s solution allows customers to design their own van as they wish. A robust aluminum inner frame allows freedom in interior design thanks to stability and a variety of connection options. Similar to apps, the MAVIS modules are easy to attach or reposition to the system.

NECharge Pro

The Styrian young company NEcharge focuses on the area of ​​e-mobility. The young company offers its own system for measuring the charged energy and tax-compliant data transmission for mobile charging cables for electric vehicles.
