The conference strengthens the holistic design of good digital products and services. Digital design not only creates what is visible, but also what is hidden. Expertise such as UX design, product management and user research must be developed in interdisciplinary teams in order to recognize technology potential and use it in a human-centered manner.

Digital Design & UX Next, organized by dpunkt.verlag and iX in collaboration with MaibornWolff, is aimed at product and service managers, usability & user experience professionals, digital designers, requirements engineers and product owners.

The program offers lectures in two tracks with answers to the following questions:

Adaptations to a rapidly changing world: What new perspectives are emerging for digital design? How can user research serve as a compass for accessible designs? What do AI mean for digital design and data protection? What role does society centered design play in the solutions of tomorrow? How does Sustainable UX determine more sustainable design decisions?UX & Agile? We show exciting phenomena and approaches from practice.

In the opening keynote lecture, Martina Beck, Kim Lauenroth, Ute Nause and Thomas Immich explain why digital design is so relevant for them. They explain why, especially in times when generative AI is moving into digitalization, digital change needs a direction and why UX matters.

Four half-day workshops will take place on the day before the conference: The workshops ā€œOvercoming Barriers: Accessibility in Digital Products ā€“ Why it is important and how to implement itā€ and ā€œWhat is Digital Design?! ā€‹ā€‹A joint research trip with a 360Ā° viewā€ cost 299 euros each.
