In a recent post on LinkedIn, Spector wrote, “I’d love to do Epic Mickey 3, but I have a day job and it’s just not possible. I actually have a high-level idea of what I’m going to do in Trilogy.” While this statement may seem hopeful for fans, Spector cautioned against getting too excited.
He added, “Don’t worry, what I’m doing is pretty cool and OtherSide is hiring for this project and another one we’re working on.” This suggests that while Spector has ideas for a potential third game, it may not be feasible in the immediate future.
