Fans of the beloved Epic Mickey series may have something to look forward to as series director Warren Spector has expressed interest in creating a third game. With the announcement of a remaster of the first Epic Mickey game, Spector seems to have found a renewed passion for the series.
In a recent post on LinkedIn, Spector wrote, āIād love to do Epic Mickey 3, but I have a day job and itās just not possible. I actually have a high-level idea of what Iām going to do in Trilogy.ā While this statement may seem hopeful for fans, Spector cautioned against getting too excited.
He added, āDonāt worry, what Iām doing is pretty cool and OtherSide is hiring for this project and another one weāre working on.ā This suggests that while Spector has ideas for a potential third game, it may not be feasible in the immediate future.
The fate of a third Epic Mickey game may ultimately depend on the success of the upcoming remaster. If fans want to see another installment in the series, supporting the release of Epic Mickey: Rebrushed may be crucial.
For now, fans will have to keep an eye on any future announcements from Spector and the Epic Mickey team to see if their dreams of a third game become a reality.
