Former Deviation Games Developers Reportedly Form New Sony Studio
Former developers from independent studio and former PlayStation partner Deviation Games have reportedly joined forces to form a new Sony studio. This news comes after the announcement in March of this year that Deviation Games would be shutting down after four years of operation.
According to a post on LinkedIn by former Deviation developer Michael Anthony, it has been reported that a group of former Deviation Games employees have come together to establish a new studio within Sony. Anthony shared in his post, “Hey, I heard a lot of former Deviation Games employees have set up their own studios at Sony to work on an undisclosed new IP.”
He continued, “I see that all the people working there are top developers and they want you to create a top new IP with your studio and hopefully give you all the time to create a high-quality product, and No need to deal with the red tape of previous projects.”
As of now, Sony has not officially confirmed the existence of this new studio. However, with the talent and experience of the former Deviation Games developers, it will be exciting to see what they have in store for the gaming community in the future. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
