In order to demonstrate their impact in the industry, The smarter E Europe, Europe’s largest trade fair alliance for the energy industry, offers them their own platform with the Startup Area.
Here, around 150 start-ups have the opportunity to present their pioneering energy and mobility solutions to a broad specialist audience on 2,500 square meters and to make targeted contacts with established companies.
The smarter E Europe with its four trade fairs (Intersolar Europe, ees Europe, Power2Drive Europe and EM-Power Europe) will take place from June 19th to 21st, 2024 at the Munich Trade Fair.

Greentech trade fair offers startup arena; Hall C5 – dedicated to greentech startups
For this reason, The smarter E Europe offers the Startup Area as a platform for encounters.
Around 150 start-ups will present themselves in Hall C5 in the 2,500 square meter start-up area. The number of participating young companies increases by around 65 percent compared to the previous year (2023: 91 start-ups).
Bringing innovative products, business models and solutions to market faster: On The smarter E Europe, startups have the opportunity to establish themselves more quickly and to network directly with the relevant players – whether with manufacturers, suppliers, dealers, planners, project developers, system providers, etc Installers as well as energy suppliers and network operators. At the same time, they meet potential investors on site.
Four discussion lounges are available for networking. Start-ups also have the chance to present their company in a pitch to a broad audience of experts and visitors on the Start-up Stage.

The smarter E Europe brings all relevant players in the industry to Munich. An annual highlight: the celebratory award ceremony for The smarter E AWARD.
Exhibiting green startups can also apply for the renowned industry award in the categories Outstanding Projects, Photovoltaics, Energy Storage, E-Mobility and Smart Integrated Energy. Innovative products and projects that make a significant contribution to renewable energy supply 24/7 are honored.
By participating, young companies increase their chances of maximizing their international public visibility, building credibility and securing a competitive advantage. The application deadline ends on March 15, 2024.
